Today’s sermon was delivered by Pastor Massoud after worship in songs. Pastor Masoud began his sermon by telling the story of a man who achieved what he desired and another who did not. He added: “The first man used Faith and the second failed because he was stuck in this word. This year we want to focus on faith. There is a narrow path and that’s following faith. This is the secret to succeed. Read Romans 10:17. Faith comes by hearing God’s Word. Jesus said: “If you stay in my and my word in you, whatever you ask in my name, you’ll receive. ”
In Farsi, there is a saying: “He listens”, meaning that he follows direction well. God wants us to listen, in other words to follow His direction faithfully. Many have ears but do not hear God. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. In James 1:22 and 1:25, we’re reminded to act upon what we hear. That is the sign of faith. When we act, when we put God’s word into action then we are listening to God. You can tell one’s faith by their action. When Jesus healed a woman or another man, as we read in Matthew and Mark, he said: “Your faith has healed you”. Why did only one person get healed in the crowd? What about the others who were there? The answer is that only one person who had faith received healing.
This is the secret: Have faith. And to have faith, put God’s word into action. Jesus summed it up: “Love one another”. If you love one another, you’re carrying God’s Word. When you carry God’s Word, Jesus said: “you’ll receive whatever you ask in my name.”
Let me conclude by referencing Luke 5:18-20. Be the one who acts on the Word of God by fath, don’t be a by-stander who only hears the Word of God but does not listen. Amen”

It is never enough to hear about faith in the word of God, that is why we are so blessed for people like you, to repeat the word for us over and over, so we can become one with the word of God. I have faith that by using the same Faith that he used to create the heaven and earth “Godly faith” we can achieve anything and everything in this life not only for ourselves, but for God’s glory. keep up the good work so we may all be blessed by his word through our faith.
